Ok, ok...so much for a long labor of love.
I sat down to work on my "Mother Earth" piece this evening and thanks to an amazing hubby (who bathed and put the baby to bed), I got several hours of uninterrupted work time in, and viola! I'm done!
I estimated a little more actual mosaic on this piece, but once I finished the border, I couldn't convince myself to do anymore. It screamed at me to stop...so I did. I finished up the detail painting and I'm thrilled with the outcome!
